1612.nl recently conducted a feasibility study for a multifunctional property of approximately 3,000m2 at Rooswijkweg in Velsen.

A label

Because of the different functions within the building (office/ production/ training/ storage/ sales), the wishes and requirements for the indoor climate differ greatly. The building already has an A label, which means that from a regulatory point of view there is no strict need to make a label jump. The study focused primarily on advising the owner to improve future lettability.

Technical inventory

Through an accurate survey of the current installations and examination of the building file, 1612.nl prepared a business case in which a number of realistic scenarios for sustainability were described.
Among other things, this included looking at potential savings through the use of solar panels, (PV) or Thermal Storage (WKO). In order to be prepared for further electrification, the possibilities for installing charging stations within the current technical installation were also examined. All this was supported with a budget estimate for the expected investments.
Ultimately, our report ensured that the current owner could make an informed decision about the future of the property.
