Commissioned by and in cooperation with an architectural consultancy we have assisted the user of a PGS hazardous waste depot to achieve improved compliance with current regulations. With the fire safety installations such as fire alarm and evacuation, sprinkler, Hi-Ex, emergency lighting, lightning protection and the like as a pivot, various technical improvements were integrally combined with architecture and mechanical engineering. In cooperation with the customer's contracting authority, the contractor/installer was contracted via a Design & Build process. We assisted the project team by testing the quality and integrality of the design. In addition, a climate study was carried out in three crane cabins. In collaboration with the architectural consultancy, a design was drawn up for the implementation of technical installation and construction modifications with the aim of creating a safe and comfortable working environment in the crane cabins. The work was contracted out, carried out and successfully completed.
